Robin Reed possesses a wealth of mortgage lending experience.  With over 26 years experience in originating, processing, underwriting, closing, selling loans on the secondary market and teaching, she is well prepared to convey her knowledge in the classroom.

Robin began her career in the mortgage industry in 1978 when she worked as a loan officer for DuPont Fibers Federal Credit Union in Richmond, VA.  Later she was promoted to Manager of the Mortgage Department where she managed all activities relating to loan origination as well as the sale of loans to the secondary market.  In 1989 she was named President of Ampthill Financial Services, Inc, a subsidiary of DuPont Fibers Federal Credit Union.  In this position she developed relationships with 30-40 credit unions to process, underwrite, close and fund mortgage loans for their members.  In 1994, Robin became the National Training Manager for SunTrust Mortgage, Inc.  In this position, she designed and delivered 30-35 types of classes for employees and customers involved in mortgage lending.  She managed the training of 5000 people annually.

Robin is currently an account executive for SunTrust Mortgage, Southeast Region.  She trains employees and customers of SunTrust Mortgage, has taught courses at Central Piedmont Community College, as well as for private entities.
